This is a Buckeye Brass Works train whistle from the early 1900's. The whistle is made from solid brass with a cast iron lever. The top of the whistle is marked "Buckeye Brass Works Dayton, O." The antique train whistle is in good condition, the handle has been repaired and is not set on straight. The metal has a few scratches from age and use and displays a dark patina. It measures 2.75" in diameter and is 12.25" tall.
