This is an outstanding authentic pre-historic full fluted Clovis point with a high grade of G10+ and book value of $4,000-$7,000. The point is expertly constructed from a nice Flint material and is in excellent well-preserved museum quality condition. The point shows a Clovis shape with a wonderful flute or fuller down the center which extends nearly to the tip, a very rare and exciting attributed. The spear point has a collection museum tag that reads, “608-K10 Carrizozo / Awesome 2” fluted Clovis flint point from Belgreen, ALA. EX-Nelson Daugherty Coll. Book Value $4,000 - $7,000 / D-500+”. This is truly a rare authentic Clovis point with full flute and was collected in Belgreen, Alabama from the Ex-Collection of Nelson Daugherty. This 11,200 B.P. Range artifact is from the Alabama Native American Indians and is an exceptionally fine fluted Clovis point showing wonderful detail and fine condition. Provenance: From a multi-generation artifact collection spanning 80-100 years from Las Cruzes, New Mexico. The point is in excellent condition and measures 1 7/8”L x 1”W. Riker case is 4 3/8”x3 3/8”” and 1” thick.
