I'm pleased to offer this set of vintage Hummels. Each Hummel was created by Goebel and designed by M. J. Hummel in West Germany. The 1960's Schoolgirl - School Girl figurine depicts a little girl walking to school with her basket and backpack. On the bottom of the figurine are the following markings: Goebel, W. Germany, 81/0, SN, 80. The second Hummel named Apple Tree Girl was created between 1946-1949 and depicts a young girl sitting in a tree with apple blossoms all around. On the bottom of the figurine are the following markings: Goebel, W. Germany, 141 3/0. The coloring and detail on this piece is exquisite. What great gifts for any young ladies that help pick apples or going back to school this fall. Maker: Goebel Artist: M. J. Hummel Pattern: School Girl and Apple Tree Girl Date: 1960 and 1946-1949 Measurements: School Girl: 2 1/8" in diameter, 4 7/8" tall Apple Tree Girl: 4" tall, 2 1/2" wide, 1 3/4" deep Condition: Good Condition for the age. The School Girl has a tiny flea bite on the bottom (it barely shows when the piece is standing) and two small lines of crazing near her feet and the Apple Tree Girl has some crazing on the bottom (this flaw cannot be seen at all when the piece is standing).
