Oversized Sweater - Patterns for Pirates

This is a PDF sewing pattern and tutorial to teach you how to create these garments. THIS IS NOT A FINISHED GARMENT. Nothing beats feeling like you're putting on a warm cozy hug of a sweater when it's cold outside! The Oversized Sweater is just that! The super loose fit gives you freedom to choose thick, warm, even the fluffiest fabrics to snuggle into! You can pick from 3 necklines: classic crew, a tall turtleneck, or a hood (with optional drawstrings). Then pair it with your choice of hemlines: split high low, curved, or tight waistband. You can add a kangaroo style pocket on the tight waistband or split high low hem option as well. With all these options you can create such different final looks from a chic sweater to an athletic hoodie. The loose fit allows you to use a variety of fabrics like sweater knits, french terry, sweatshirt fleece, fleece, sherpa, etc. Enjoy videos throughout the pattern tutorial such as help with fabric choices, choosing a size and fit description, and sewing the split high low hem.
