These fittings are made to tighter tolerances than other compression fittings. They are also known as flare-less fittings and instrumentation fittings. They include a nut and a single sleeve (ferrule). The nut has a molybdenum di-sulfide coating that acts as a lubricant for easy installation. The sleeve bites into tubing as you tighten the nut, creating a strong seal—even in high-vibration applications. Fittings are brass for good corrosion resistance.
