Versace's spring-summer 2023 show took place in Milan against a background of black candles behind glass walls and Prince's best-known songs. The theme of the collection appeared to be Y2K Goth, with black, purple and hints of fuchsia pink being seen throughout. The looks were equally glamorous and tough, featuring slashes cutting across dresses and tops, both structured and flowing designs, leather, lace, and tulle. As the epitome of Y2K, Paris Hilton closed the show in a sparkly fuchsia minidress and hot pink fingerless gloves.
