Judge looking forward to 'couple more' moves from Yankees after

By A Mystery Man Writer

Aaron Judge is excited about the New York Yankees' moves this offseason, but it sounds like the slugger expects more to come."We've made some big moves the past couple of days and looking forward to making a couple more, but it's going to be a fun season, I think, for Yankee fans," Judge said on Fox 5's "Good Day New York" on Thursday. The Yankees were one of the busiest teams at the winter meetings, adding outfielders Juan Soto and Trent Grisham in a blockbuster trade with the San Diego Padres. They also acquired outfielder Alex Verdugo in a four-player swap with the Boston Red Sox.Judge said adding Soto was huge for the Yankees because of his success over his short time in MLB. Soto is already a three-time All-Star, batting champion, Home Run Derby winner, and World Series champion in just six major-league seasons."We gave up quite a few pieces to get him, but he's a generational talent. His track record, his stats speak for themselves," Judge said. "I think everybody in the Yankee universe is pretty excited to have him on board."As for other potential players, the Yankees have been connected to Japanese pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto and are expected to sit down with the right-hander Monday. They've also been linked to hard-throwing reliever Jordan Hicks and KBO MVP Jung Hoo Lee.
